The people have spoken and we listened.

One of the main concerns regarding the events that take place in downtown Erie is the inclusion of LOCAL VENDORS. As  festival planners we are very familiar with the nuances of having local brick and mortar establishments participate.

For the food service industry, in addition to staffing their shops, they would have to supply additional staff for the duration of the event, rent a tent, provide a mobile kitchen and pay attention to the various codes for off premise events.  This has proven to be very expensive venture and with the chance of inclement weather could adversely affect their bottom line.

The Rib Fest is excited to share that we have included several local eateries to this year’s festival.  The Brooklyn Pizza truck will be on site all 4-days of the Rib Fest preparing their delicious wood-fired pizzas and S’mores  Sticks. Connie’s Ice Cream will be returning with the most delicious, flavorful hand made Ice Cream, sundaes, milkshakes and more. It will be difficult to pass by Esther’s Mini Donuts without grabbing some.  This Corry based vendor will be baking the mini donuts on site. You will be able to watch the donuts go through the full process and get them warm right away.  For the wine lovers…….we invite you to stop by the Presque Isle Wine Cellars booth and check out several of their wines. No one will be able to pass the Bite By The Bay without getting a crowd favorite funnel cake, perhaps a corn dog or perhaps some deep fried oreos. For refreshing fresh-squeezed lemonade or a soda, stop in at the Kim’s Lemonade Stand on Ribber Row or satisfy your craving for an Italian Ice from Johnnies. Lots of local delights and more.

Stop in…Shop Local.

This event offers FREE Admission to the public. Visit often. Try some yummy treats from the local and regional eateries.
