The #ErieRibFest is proud to be among Erie’s’ premier signature events. We are excited to return to our original timeframe as the “KICK-OFF” Event to summer in the region. Our 2024 Dates are MAY 29, 30, 31 and June 1, 2024. Wahoo!

It’s about the BBQ. This family fun festival features National Touring, Award Winning BBQ Cooking Teams (as seen on the Food Network) and whenever possible, Erie’s local BBQ teams. Many of the participating teams have been a staple of the Erie Rib Fest for well over 19 years. Carolina Rib King has been with us the longest and has established a great rapport with event visitors. It is rare to have an opening along Ribber Row however, when that happens due to teams retiring or to conflicts with scheduling, we open the opportunity to join us.

What other activities are scheduled? This festival is also host to local and regional entertainment on the main stage, works by artisans and craftsmen, vendors, business booths, demonstrations, service groups, festival foods and treats, specialty acts, games, fun for the kids. We also feature local micro breweries and distilleries with the Spirits on the Square and so much more.

BBQ Lovers . . Festival Goers . . .Analytics show that the largest group of event visitors are typically between 22 and 55 years of age with the ratio of men and women nearly equal. The Erie Rib Fest focuses on community spirit, family fun and of course the BBQ! This longstanding festival attracts an estimated attendance of over 50,000 visitors annually.

Did you know that the Erie Rib Fest is owned and produced by a locally woman owned company? President and owner, Kathi Danielson of Performance & Event Management, LLC has owned and produced the Erie Rib Fest since 2004. Her focus has always been to integrate local and regional businesses, musicians and service groups. She strives to use this platform to showcase local businesses and to introduce regional businesses to the Erie patrons

What makes the Erie Rib Fest Sponsorship Opportunities unique?
Our Sponsorship goal is to offer interested businesses an all-a-carte approach; one that can be customized to coordinate with your specific marketing directives. Exhibitor Booth Space
This festival attracts a loyal group of event goers. On-site participation will provide the opportunity to engage one-on-one with event visitors. Exhibitor space at the Erie Rib Fest provides an opportunity to increase brand awareness while creating a strong community connection.
